3. Action principle

4. Medication

Decoct purgative medicines mainly for using.

Heat disease should be treated with medicines that can clear heat and detoxicate; Cold disease should be treated with medicines that can warm and strengthen yang; Patients with blood stasis should take medicines that invigorate blood while patients with anemia should take medicines that tonify blood.

5. Administration

Use 100ml to 500ml decoction, ask patients to keep prostrate posture and raise the hip for at least 1 hour.

Use this treatment for 10 days continuously and suspend it for 4 days, which means a whole course of treatment. Three such short courses mean a long course of treatment.

6. Short-term effects

No ammonia tastes in the mouth, relieved and skin itch, improved appetite, relief of anemia, increased urine.

7. Precautions

Clyster gently and do not operate roughly.

Choose optimal enema position to retain medicines.

Patients’ privacy should be protected, screen or curtain are needed.
